Because of these complaints, the Independent/PP councillors are going to present a motion at the next Ordinary Plenary Council meeting (normally the last Wednesday of March) asking that the Town Hall publishes the criteria used to select the Students. We will also ask if the selection process was carried out in the correct manner.
Anyone who is affected by this process and/or who is interested in how the Mayor responds is invited to attend the next Plenary session. As soon as they let us know the date, we will publish it on this site. We only get a few days notice!

It is very clear that due process has not been followed in the recruitment process for the positions available. It was supposed to be based on a points system for instance. Why is it that people with children have been excluded when individuals without this responsibility have been successful?
As well as organising a motion at the next meeting, wouldn't it be prudent for action to be taken now in the form of contacting the adminsitration at the unemployment bureau in Huercal Overa so that they are aware officially of the anomalies in the election process?
Perhaps a representative from there could also attend the next meeting?
