1. Ana Isabel Rubio
I was born in 1985 and began my schooling at the local Bédar school before transferring to the elementary school in Los Gallardos and attending high school in Vera.  I then studied hostelry in Almeria and obtained a tourism diploma from the University of Almeria.  During my summer vacations I worked in a souvenir shop to pay for my studies.  Since getting my diploma, I have been working as a receptionist in several outlets of the Best Hotels chain in Mojacar I believe the town needs change that gives its young people the possibility to work and live in their home town.  I believe there are people in Bédar ready and able to work so that the town will have a better future for all.	Me llamo Ana, nací en Bédar en día 25 de enero de 1985, comencé mis primeras clases en la escuela de Bédar, a los 8 años me trasladé al colegio de Los Gallardos hasta que terminé mis estudios primarios y después continué los estudios secundarios en el Instituto de Vera; por último me trasladé a Almería para estudiar un módulo superior de Alojamiento y finalicé con una diplomatura de Turismo en la Universidad de Almería. Entre verano y verano trabajé en una tienda de souvenirs para poder pagar mis estudios y una vez que los finalicé comencé ejercer la profesión de Recepcionista en diversos hoteles de la cadena Best Hotels en Mojácar, en la cual sigo actualmente trabajando en temporada alta. Creo que el pueblo necesita un cambio que permita que los jóvenes tengan la posibilidad de trabajar y vivir en el pueblo, porque en Bédar existe gente preparada y dispuesta a trabajar por su pueblo para conseguir un futuro mejor para todos
 2.  David Horton
I had two careers before retiring and moving to Spain in 2008. First I was a Methodist minister in London where, in addition to my normal duties, I also oversaw a multi-million pound development project.  My second career was as a psychotherapist in private practice in Bristol.  Helen and I have  five children and seven grandchildren. The decision to retire to Bédar was one of the best we ever made and we are relishing living in this warm, beautiful and friendly place. I want to ensure that Bédar and its hamlets develop their unique culture and environment in the best possible way.  Since joining the group, I have enjoyed being engaged with intelligent, thoughtful and committed people who want to participate in improving their community.  I have also appreciated the opportunity to become more integrated with Spanish society.  I thought I was beginning a well deserved retirement when in fact I may be starting a third career!	Tenía carreras antes de retirarse y mudarse a España en 2008. Primero ejercí como ministro metodista en Londres, donde además de mis tareas habituales supervisé un proyecto de desarrollo de varios millones de libras. Mi segunda carrera profesional fue como psicoterapeuta privado en Bristol. Helen y yo tenemos cinco hijos y siete nietos. La decisión de retirarme a Bédar ha sido una de las mejores que jamás he hecho y estamos disfrutando mucho en este lugar cálido, hermoso y hospitalario. Quiero asegurarme que Bédar y sus pedanías desarrollan su cultura, que es única, y su medio ambiente de la mejor forma posible. Desde que me uní al grupo, he disfrutado de colaborar con personas inteligentes, reflexivas y comprometidas que quieren mejorar su comunidad. También aprecio mucho la oportunidad de integrarme más con la sociedad española. Pensé que había empezado mi merecida jubilación, cuando en realidad puede ser que inicie una tercera carrera
3. Cristóbal Castaño
I was born in 1983 and learned my first words at the local school in Bédar.  At the age of 10, I had to transfer to the school in Los Gallardos followed by the Alyunub Institute in Vera where I obtained my high school diploma.  Since graduating, I work in the family business, the town’s small supermarket. My hobbies include travelling, fishing and nature walks.  Although I personally have no experience in politics, my grandfather was mayor of Bédar during the Franco era and my uncle was town secretary.   Although I have no experience in politics, I want to learn how to help improve things which I think are not right and to work for the future of our town.	Soy Cristóbal, nací en Bédar el 5 de Septiembre de 1982. Mis primeras palabras las aprendí en el colegio del pueblo, del cual tuvimos que irnos con 10 años al colegio de Los Gallardos, y así sucesivamente hasta terminar mis estudios de Técnico Auxiliar Administrativo en el Instituto Alyanub de Vera. Actualmente ayudo en el negocio familiar, una pequeña tienda del pueblo. Mis hobbies son viajar, pescar y dar paseos por el campo para contemplar la naturaleza. Aunque no tengo experiencia en política quiero participar de este proyecto tanto para aprender como para ayudar a mejorar algunas cosas que creo que no van bien y trabajar por el futuro de nuestro pueblo.
